About me

Kenia

I was born and raised in Las Vegas. Complete and total unicorn over here!
I am very passionate about personal growth and development. I am always reading books, listening to podcasts, journaling, going to therapy, any and all of the things to strive to always be a better version of myself and continue on this journey called life and grow, learn and heal.

I Love me a good organic coffee, burger, truffles fries and pizza.
I do not take myself too seriously. In fact, you can almost always catch me rocking out to music and singing and having a dance party pretty much anywhere.

People say that I am so confident in my skin and appreciate how I constantly show up in my life. Truth be told, it took me many years to get to this point in my life. I used to be extremely quiet, introverted and always in my head, overthinking all of the negative outcomes that could be possible in my life. Creating a false narrative and replaying negative thoughts and beliefs were my jam!
It wasn’t until I had my ah-ha moment, and everything clicked. I realized that I have the choice of what I want to think and allow to enter my mind. I have the choice on how I respond to events that happen in my life. I have the choice on how I view things that happen and have happened in my life. Once I realized it has all happened FOR ME and not TO ME, I was able to see the lessons in all of it and it was truly a game changer!
I have been able to overcome and manage health issues of auto immune disease with Hashimoto’s, gut health, breast implant illness, anxiety, body image dysmorphia, negative mindset, toxic relationships, and divorce.
I have grown to be confident in myself, speak up for myself, and honor myself. I have learned to trust my intuition and truly surrender. The days of trying to control everything around me and expecting the worst are long gone.
Now wait a minute here… I am human! Although I have overcome a lot, I still have days or moments of doubt where old thought patterns or behaviors try to creep back in and run the show. Through different tools and resources along the way and putting in the work, it has allowed for the bounce back rate to be a lot faster versus what it was before.
I am an open book about my experiences and my life, and I want to share them all with you. The highs, the lows, the meltdowns, anxiety attacks, laughs, ugly cry sessions, the dance parties.
I hope that with my posts you will be able to find motivation, inspiration, relate and maybe have a good laugh or two. Because the truth is we are never fully healed, healing is a journey, and not a destination.
So let’s have some fun, learn and grow together!
Welcome to my story, my journey, my world… All things Kenia
